2004 IT STARTED AT CHRISTMAS and the story continued. |
THE HEART BEHIND THE CHRISTMAS STORE
The gifts were only the beginning.
The Coachella Valley Christmas Store has brought neighbors together since 2004. The Narrow Door grew out of following up with families after Christmas—because we discovered that the relationships mattered just as much as the gifts.
Today, we still believe in showing up after the decorations come down. This year, that means gifts for all ages, a special day for seniors and neighbors experiencing homelessness, and wraparound support that reaches beyond the celebration. Your generosity helps keep that kind of care going.
Christmas opens the door. Love keeps it open.
THIS SEASON, BE PART OF SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
Let's make Christmas
feel like Christmas.
A present can brighten Christmas morning. A connection to care can make a difference long after the wrapping paper is gone.

WITH GRATITUDE TO OUR SPONSORS
Christmas happens
together.
Thank you to the businesses, churches, and community partners helping make Christmas possible for neighbors of every age across the Coachella Valley.
Chris Schultz of No Shorts Electric has served alongside the Christmas Store and The Narrow Door for years. When he heard we were no longer holding the Store the way our founder, Sue Ramirez, started it, he was devastated. So Chris and his team are spearheading its return — bringing the Store and this community back together in remembrance of Sue, who passed away this April. The Narrow Door could not have taken this on without him.
